On Monday, August 17, 2015, a couple, Yvette Rodriguez, 26, and David Chavez, 24, were found dead in a car outside of Rodriguez’s home.
The couple chose to sit outside due to the lack of privacy in Rodriguez’s home. Rodriquez’s neighbors reported to the police to have heard gunshots at 10:40 p.m.
The family was shocked by the death of the pair. Rodriquez was a hard working woman who never got into trouble, and was the mother of two children, ages 3 and 7. The mother of Rodriquez had a heart attack when she discovered the death of the pair. Police are still looking for the gunman who killed the couple.
